Full Cast and Visual Revealed for Chainsaw Man Stage Play "Reze Arc"

The Chainsaw Man series, penned by Tatsuki Fujimoto and a global phenomenon, is preparing for an ambitious return to the theater stage. The full cast and an impressive main visual featuring Denji and Reze side-by-side have been officially released for the new stage play based on one of the series' most beloved chapters, the 'Reze Arc' (Bomb Girl Arc). Following the success of the first play in 2023, this new production has sparked great excitement among fans.
In the new play, Naotake Tsuchiya will reprise his role as Denji, just as he did in the first production. In the role of the mysterious and dangerous Reze, who is at the center of the story, we will see former AKB48 member Yui Yokoyama. The rest of the cast includes Mizuki Umetsu as Aki Hayakawa, Mahiru Coda as Power, and the famous artist Aya Hirano as Makima. Directed and written by Fumiya Matsuzaki, the production promises to bring the series' dark and chaotic atmosphere to the stage.
This announcement comes during a very active period for the Chainsaw Man universe. The success of the Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc anime film, which was released in 2025 and achieved great box office success, once again proved how beloved this arc is. Tatsuki Fujimoto's manga, which began in 2018 and concluded its second part last March, is considered one of the most original examples of the modern shonen genre. The 'Reze Arc' holds a special significance for fans as it plays a critical role in Denji's emotional development.
Chainsaw Man The Stage: Reze Arc performances are scheduled to take place in Tokyo and Kyoto in July and August 2026. The innovative stage techniques and fight choreographies used in the first play received great acclaim; therefore, how Reze's explosive powers will be portrayed on stage in the new play has already created high expectations. Further details regarding ticket sales and international viewing options are expected to be announced in the coming months.
