A Major Collaboration from CLAMP and CONVERSE TOKYO: Cardcaptor Sakura Collection is Coming!

One of the most iconic artist groups in the manga world, CLAMP, and the famous fashion brand CONVERSE TOKYO are embarking on a new project that will excite fans. As part of the duo's fourth collaboration, a special clothing collection themed around the legendary 1990s series Cardcaptor Sakura has been announced. This collection, which will be available for purchase starting April 24th, combines the magical atmosphere of the series with modern street fashion.
At the center of the collection are special T-shirts featuring the Clow Card and Sakura Card designs, which are well-known to fans of the series. Blending CONVERSE TOKYO's minimalist aesthetic with CLAMP's detailed drawing style, the pieces are both suitable for daily wear and hold collectible value. The products will be available simultaneously in the brand's retail stores across Japan and through official online sales channels. This collaboration stands out as part of a project to bring eight different works by CLAMP into the fashion world.
Starting its journey in Nakayoshi magazine in 1996, Cardcaptor Sakura is considered not just a manga, but a cultural phenomenon that redefined the mahou shoujo (magical girl) genre. The four-member female artist group CLAMP, consisting of Nanase Ohkawa, Mokona, Tsubaki Nekoi, and Satsuki Igarashi, managed to sell millions of copies worldwide with this series. The series, which recently made headlines with the conclusion of the Clear Card arc, continues to carry its legacy to new generations with this new fashion collection.
This collaboration is the latest example of how intertwined the anime and manga world has become with the fashion industry. Having featured works such as xxxHOLiC, Chobits, Magic Knight Rayearth, and Tokyo Babylon in previous collections, CONVERSE TOKYO aims to expand its fan base with every new drop. The Cardcaptor Sakura pieces, which are expected to be produced in limited quantities, are anticipated to sell out quickly, especially among collectors who value the aesthetic details of the series.
