New Manga Brand from Drecom and Manga Box: Dre Box Launches with Four Series

Drecom, one of Japan's leading game and digital content companies, has announced a new manga brand called Dre Box in collaboration with the popular manga platform Manga Box. According to the official announcement, the brand will first launch with four new series. This move comes at a time when demand for fantasy and isekai genres is steadily increasing.
The new brand's focus, as the name suggests, will be on the fantasy and isekai genres. In a joint statement, Drecom and Manga Box said, “Under the Dre Box label, we aim to offer readers unique worlds and unforgettable adventures.” Although the names of the first four series have not yet been fully disclosed, it is stated that each takes place in a different fantasy universe and will stand out with innovative storytelling.
This development shows that digital platforms and collaborations are gaining increasing importance in the manga industry. Manga Box is a platform established in 2013 by Kodansha, which started as a weekly digital manga magazine. Drecom, on the other hand, is known for mobile games such as “Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Gaiden”. The merger of the two companies is seen as a strategic move, both for Drecom to bring its game and storytelling experience to manga and for Manga Box to offer new and high-quality content to its wide readership.
The first series are planned to be published on Manga Box by the end of 2026. Additionally, more series are expected to be announced under the Dre Box brand in the coming years. Especially for readers interested in the isekai genre, this brand promises to offer works that both break common clichés and successfully blend the genre's popular elements. Industry observers believe that Dre Box can quickly establish a solid place for itself in the digital manga market.
