Hyōyomi no Victoria Manga Is Ending: Only Two Chapters Left
Hyōyomi no Victoria manga is coming to an end about a year after it began serialization. The series, created by Shū Okimoto and Koichi Suzuki, will conclude after two more chapters are published.
Shū Okimoto, who handles the manga's illustrations, is also known as the artist of the well-known wine-themed series The Drops of God. Okimoto's elegant and detailed character designs helped Hyōyomi no Victoria gain attention. The series began its publication run in Japan in June 2024.
According to the official announcement, the story is shaped around themes of ice and reading: the concept of "Hyōyomi" (ice reading) revolves around the characters' ability to decipher messages from ice. Writer Koichi Suzuki is a screenwriter who has previously worked on works in various genres. Unfortunately, the series lasting only one year has caused some disappointment among readers regarding its short run.
The magazine in which the manga is published (most likely Weekly Morning or a similar seinen magazine) has not yet announced the final date, but the last two chapters are expected to appear in the upcoming issues. The total number of volumes for the series is also a matter of curiosity – if it is collected into a single volume, it could offer a short but concise reading experience.
