First Volume of "Itsuka Uchuu kara" Manga by Hiroyuki Nishimori and Mitsushi Inaba Released

Two giants of the manga world have come together for a new project that will have readers bursting with laughter! The first volume of the manga Itsuka Uchuu kara (Someday from Space), written by Hiroyuki Nishimori, the creator of legendary series such as Kyou Kara Ore Wa!! and Tenshi na Konamaiki, and brought to life with the art of Mitsushi Inaba, known for Karakai Jouzu no (Moto) Takagi-san, hit shelves in Japan as of May 12, 2026.
Our story revolves around Yuki Nakagawa, the most popular kid in school whose life is going perfectly. However, Yuki's peaceful life is turned upside down on his 17th birthday by a shocking truth he hears from his father: Yuki is actually an alien! Learning that his father is an alien and his mother is an earthling, our hero realizes that a strange ability has awakened within him while trying to process this fact. This ability is a "gender-bending" (TS) power that turns him into a young girl at unexpected moments. In this adventure where science fiction and comedy are blended, we watch Yuki's struggle to cope with both his new identity and his alien heritage.
This series is not actually a completely new idea; it is a modern remake of Hiroyuki Nishimori's work titled Itsuka Sora kara (Someday from the Sky), which was published in Gessan magazine in 2010, arriving 16 years later. When Nishimori's unique sense of absurd humor and character dynamics combine with Mitsushi Inaba's soft and modern art style, the result is a work that is both nostalgic and fresh.
