KAKERU's New Manga Succubus Hunter Exex Launches in August

KAKERU returns to the manga world with his new manga Succubus Hunter Exex. According to Anime News Network, the series will begin publishing on August 31 on the Comic Heaven platform. The mangaka is known especially for Keijo!!!!!!!!, which was published in Weekly Shōnen Sunday between 2013 and 2017 and adapted into a 12-episode anime by Xebec in 2016.
Keijo!!!!!!!! gained a cult following for treating an absurd concept like "butt and breast wrestling" as a serious sports manga. The 18-volume series held an important place especially among readers who love the ecchi and shounen genres. This new project by KAKERU is considered one of the most prominent manga works since Keijo!!!!!!!! ended.
The new series' title points to the story of a character who hunts succubi, supernatural beings. The "Exex" in the title suggests that the action and comedy dose could be high. No detailed announcement has been made yet about the series' plot, characters, or release schedule; however, KAKERU fans expect the return of his signature energetic drawings and exaggerated scenes.
The fact that KAKERU will create a new series after Keijo!!!!!!!! has excited especially the mangaka's old fans. The fact that it will be published on the Comic Heaven platform suggests that the series may have a more relaxed content approach. After the first chapter on August 31, international licensing of the series and its arrival on digital platforms are also among the eagerly awaited developments.
