New Manga from Kano Kashiwagi: Zureta Kaishaku no Bokura Starts on July 8
Kano Kashiwagi, the author known for popular manga My Maid, Miss Kishi, is preparing to present a brand new series to readers. The new manga titled Zureta Kaishaku no Bokura will be published with its first chapter in Japan on July 8.
According to Anime News Network, the series will be published on a platform not yet fully announced. Kashiwagi's previous work, My Maid, Miss Kishi, was serialized in Square Enix's Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine between 2020 and 2022, and reached readers in many languages including Turkish. That series explored the tense relationship between a mysterious maid and a student, drawing attention to Kashiwagi's character writing and psychological depth.
The new manga's title Zureta Kaishaku no Bokura can be roughly translated as "Misinterpreted Us." Although no detailed summary has been released, a story blending psychological drama and romantic elements is expected, as in Kashiwagi's previous works. The author's particular emphasis on emotional conflicts and the inner worlds of characters may also manifest in this series.
While the manga industry in Japan hosts new series launches during the summer, Kashiwagi's return is especially welcomed with excitement by fans of My Maid, Miss Kishi.
