First Volume of LYNX Released Under VIZ Originals Label

Samuel Sattin and artist tokitokoro’s new manga series LYNX has been officially released with its first volume under VIZ Media’s VIZ Originals label. The publisher also shared special preview images from the series’ opening pages with readers. Thus, LYNX became one of the newest original English-language manga projects to be added to the VIZ Originals catalog.
VIZ Originals is known for providing space for original stories inspired by manga and for Western creators. LYNX brings together Samuel Sattin’s command of anime and manga culture with tokitokoro’s drawing sensibility. Readers who remember Sattin from works such as A Kid’s Guide to Anime & Manga and Buzzing will feel his narrative identity closely here as well. With its supernatural elements and character-driven narrative, the series stands out as a work that will particularly attract manga fans.
LYNX’s story takes shape around the mysterious lynx figure it is named after. The first volume establishes the central conflict of this world while leaving a visually strong impression with tokitokoro’s atmospheric panels. The released preview images show how faithful the series remains to manga aesthetics. This makes LYNX a common meeting point for readers who follow both manga from Japan and English-language productions.
The first volume of LYNX is currently accessible digitally and in print via VIZ Media. The date for the second volume or the total number of volumes in the series has not been announced yet. However, this new title from VIZ Originals is significant as a strong sign of support for works produced outside Japan in the manga industry.
