Five New Series Added to Manga Up! Global Library: Isekai, Gourmet, and Romantic Adventures
Manga Up! Global, Square Enix's international digital manga platform, announced that as of July 28, 2026, it has added five new series to its library. With these additions, the platform aims to offer a rich selection of isekai, gourmet, romantic comedy, and school adventure genres.
The new series are: “I’m Now the Princess of Spring in Another World”, “Fantasy Gourmet”, “Sunbeams in the Sky”, “Since I Was Confessed To, Milady Has Been Acting Strange”, and “School Submarine Fleet: Mermaid Girls”. Each of these works has a different atmosphere and aims to meet the needs of both popular genres and more niche tastes.
“I’m Now the Princess of Spring in Another World” follows the classic isekai formula; our protagonist suddenly finds herself as a princess in the land of spring fairies. “Fantasy Gourmet” is a new example of the “food-focused fantasy manga” genre that has been on the rise in recent years: an adventure of cooking with rare ingredients in a magical world. While “Sunbeams in the Sky” and “Since I Was Confessed To, Milady Has Been Acting Strange” represent different tones of the romantic genre, “School Submarine Fleet: Mermaid Girls” is an unusual action comedy about the adventures of mermaid students in a preschool submarine fleet.
Manga Up! Global is known as a platform that previously brought popular series like “My Dress-Up Darling” and “The Apothecary Diaries” to international readers. These new additions show that Square Enix continues its strategy of including both major hits and smaller, fresh voices. The platform aims to offer subscribers constantly new content by regularly updating its library.
This move comes at a time when the popularity of isekai and food-themed manga is increasing.
