From Yamori Tsuji, Creator of Meguru Mirai, a New Cursed Manga-Themed Horror Series: Region

One of the beloved names in the manga world, Yamori Tsuji, has returned with a new occult horror thriller series that will keep readers on the edge of their seats. The author's latest work, Region (れぎをん), began serialization on May 8th in the 11th issue of Shogakukan's Big Comic Superior magazine. This new series centers on a mysterious and cursed manga that leads anyone who reads it to their death.
Yamori Tsuji is a mangaka known for his dramatic and suspenseful stories. One of his most well-known works was the Meguru Mirai (めぐる未来) series, which told the story of a husband with the ability to travel back in time through emotional fluctuations, trying to save his wife. This series, published in Shūkan Manga Times and completed in 5 volumes, successfully blended themes of mystery, suspense, and time travel. In fact, Meguru Mirai also received a live-action drama adaptation, which aired on NTV/YTV channels between January 18 and March 22, 2024. Another notable work by Tsuji was the drama series Tamago to Niwatori (卵と鶏), which focused on a woman who is a victim of domestic violence meeting her future son.
The Big Comic Superior magazine, where Region is published, also holds an important place in the manga community. This seinen magazine, published bi-monthly by Shogakukan since July 1, 1987, generally caters to a young adult male readership.
