Tomodachi no Imouto ga Ore ni Dake Uzai Manga Ends: Saying Goodbye with Volume 12

The end of the road has arrived for Tomodachi no Imouto ga Ore ni Dake Uzai (My Friend’s Little Sister Has It in for Me!), one of the popular names in the romantic comedy world. It has been officially announced that the manga adaptation, illustrated by Hira Hiraoka and published on Square Enix’s Manga UP! platform, will conclude with its upcoming 12th volume. While the 11th volume of the series hit shelves on May 7, 2026, the final volume is expected to meet readers in the autumn months of this year.
The series follows the dynamic relationship between Akiteru Ooboshi, a high school student obsessed with efficiency who avoids unnecessary social interactions, and Iroha Kohinata, his best friend's annoying yet captivating younger sister. Akiteru's struggle to secure a spot at his uncle's game development company and his need to play the role of a fake boyfriend elevate the story beyond a classic school comedy. Starting in 2019, the manga adaptation successfully translated these fun moments from Ghost Mikawa’s original light novel series into visuals.
This farewell news comes after the anime adaptation of the series, which aired last year. As you may recall, the anime series produced by Studio BLADE premiered in October 2025 and received significant attention. The manga series concluding with its 12th volume is seen as a move to crown the momentum created by the anime. Although fans are saddened to read Iroha's famous "Senpai" calls in the manga for the last time, the community has welcomed the fact that the story will end with a tidy finale.
