Needy Girl Overdose Returns with a 4-Panel Manga: Release Date Announced!

Exciting news for fans of Needy Girl Overdose (known in the West as Needy Streamer Overload). According to an announcement from the series' official channels, a new 4-panel (yonkoma) manga series will begin publication on April 5th. This new series will be written and illustrated by Kokamumo, a name that is no stranger to the game's visual world.
Kokamumo is well-known to the series' loyal followers for their animations and illustrations in the game's popular music videos. The artist's unique visual style has been highly praised for capturing the chaotic world of the main character Ame-chan and her internet persona OMGkawaiiAngel. This new manga project aims to further expand the series' universe, running in parallel with the previously announced anime adaptation.
First released on January 21, 2022, Needy Girl Overdose quickly became a cult hit, selling over 1.5 million copies worldwide. Developed by WSS playground and Xemono, the game offers a dark yet colorful story where we manage a streamer's mental health and internet fame. This "denpa"-style production made a significant impact by addressing the toxic sides of modern internet culture and social media addiction.
This new manga series will shed light on Ame-chan's daily life and streaming adventures through more humorous and short chapters. Especially during this period where the anime project is highly anticipated, the 4-panel format is expected to deepen the interactions between characters and provide entertaining content for fans. The new adventures of the internet's most "needy" streamer will meet readers starting April 5th.
