A Gluttonous Saint's New Adventure: "Nenpi ga Warui Seijo" Launches on Manga UP! Platform

Square Enix's popular digital platform Manga UP! has added a very appetizing series to its library as of today (March 31). Titled Nenpi ga Warui Seijo desu ga, Koushaku-sama ni Hirowarete Shiawase desu! (Gohan-teki ni♪), this new manga has been released for readers looking for both romance and comedy. The original story belongs to Hibiki Sayama, while the illustrations are handled by Chinatsu Mannami.
Our story revolves around a saint with "very poor fuel efficiency," meaning she has an unstoppable appetite. Exiled and dismissed from her holy duties because of this gluttony, our heroine is discovered by a handsome duke while she is in a miserable state on the streets. However, the secret behind this appetite is actually the immense magical power waiting to awaken within the saint. Her new life, filled with the duke's affection and delicious meals, becomes the catalyst for the saint to reveal her true potential.
The series' author, Hibiki Sayama, is not a stranger to fans of this genre. Sayama is known for works such as Akuyaku Reijou wa Ringoku no Outaishi ni Dekiai sareru (The Villainess Is Adored by the Crown Prince of the Neighboring Kingdom), which received great attention and is a beloved example of the "villainess" genre. The author's success in creating character depth and blending romantic moments with humor is evident in this new series as well.
Square Enix's Manga UP! platform has recently gained great momentum, especially with its light novel adaptations. This new series is also seen as part of the platform's "healing" (iyashikei) and entertaining content strategy. Readers will be able to follow both the mouth-watering food scenes and the sweet attraction between the duke and the saint in every chapter. The first chapters of the series are currently available on the platform.
