New Hunter x Hunter JUMP MV Featuring Sakurazaka46 Released: Chrollo and Hisoka Take the Spotlight
A surprise visual feast has arrived for Hunter x Hunter fans. Weekly Shonen Jump has released the latest JUMP MV project for the series in collaboration with Sakurazaka46. The standout names in the video are the charismatic leader of the Phantom Troupe, Chrollo Lucilfer, and one of the series' most dangerous fighters, Hisoka Morow.
According to Anime Corner, this video is the latest installment in Jump's promotional music videos for popular manga series. The MV, edited to the tune of “Kuroi Hitsuji”, known from Sakurazaka46's Keyakizaka46 era, highlights Chrollo's connection to the Phantom Troupe and Hisoka's dangerous nature with its dark atmosphere. The song's title means “Black Sheep” and fits perfectly with the series' themes of outcasts and dark characters.
The JUMP MV project is a music initiative launched by Shueisha in 2023 for the 55th anniversary of Weekly Shonen Jump. These videos, which animate original manga panels and combine them with popular songs, have previously accompanied series such as One Piece, Jujutsu Kaisen, and My Hero Academia in a similar fashion. Hunter x Hunter's inclusion in this project increases the series' media visibility.
