A New Fantasy Series Begins in Monthly Comic ZERO-SUM: What If the Strongest Witch Becomes a Princess?

Winds of fantasy and romance continue to blow in the manga world! In the August issue of Monthly Comic ZERO-SUM, which hit shelves on June 26, a highly anticipated new series has officially begun. Titled Tekikoku ni Totsuide Koritsu Muen desu ga, Douyara Watashi wa Saikyoushu no Majo rashii desu yo? (I Married into an Enemy Country and I'm Completely Alone, But Apparently I'm the Strongest Witch), this new production is drawing attention for both its story and the talented names behind it.
The story of the series revolves around a princess who is forced to marry the Beastman Emperor of an enemy country as part of a peace treaty. Left all alone in a completely foreign and hostile environment far from her own country, our heroine discovers that she is actually the world's strongest witch, possessing devastating power. The story follows how this isolated princess will perform a "musou" (unrivaled display of power) with her immense magical strength and how she will change her fate.
The team behind this new project is quite familiar. The original story was written by Juuya, the author of the series The Villainess Is Adored by the Crown Prince of the Neighboring Kingdom, which is also popular in our country. While Takooka Ren handles the manga's illustrations, Akira Anezaki is credited for the story composition and storyboard phase. The success of Juuya's previous works raises expectations that this new series will also offer character depth and compelling romance.
Monthly Comic ZERO-SUM is a magazine that has previously hosted major productions such as Hamefura (My Next Life as a Villainess) and Bibliophile Princess, and has proven itself in the fantasy genre, particularly appealing to female readers. This new series is a perfect fit for fans who love the "oppressed but actually very powerful female character" trope. If you also enjoy stories where political intrigue, magical powers, and unexpected loves are blended, you should definitely add this series to your follow list!
