First Major Exhibition Announced for Oshi no Ko Manga Series: "Hoshi no Kiseki" Begins in July

We have exciting news for Oshi no Ko fans! The popular manga series written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari is getting its first major official exhibition. Titled "Manga Oshi no Ko Exhibition -Hoshi no Kiseki-," this special event will open its doors on July 22nd at the event space on the 8th floor of Matsuya Ginza in Tokyo.
Along with the announcement of the exhibition, a captivating key visual drawn exclusively for this event by Mengo Yokoyari was also shared. In the visual, the series' iconic characters are depicted in a way that reflects the spirit of the exhibition's theme, "the miracle of the stars." Both Akasaka and Yokoyari stated in their announcements that this exhibition will offer readers an experience that allows them to feel the world of the manga and the development of the characters more deeply.
Oshi no Ko has taken the manga world by storm since it began in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump magazine in 2020. The sharp wit of Kaguya-sama: Love is War creator Aka Akasaka combined with the emotional art style of Mengo Yokoyari, known for Scum's Wish, has uniquely blended the dark side of the idol world with themes of revenge. The series has managed to become a modern classic, selling over 17.5 million copies worldwide.
