7 New Licenses from Seven Seas Entertainment: "The Villainous Noble" and More Are Coming!

Seven Seas Entertainment, one of the giants of the manga and light novel world, continues to expand its library. According to the official announcement made on April 29, 2026, the company will bring English editions of seven new titles to readers. This new wave of licenses covers a wide range, from adult fantasy series to heartwarming animal stories, and is seen as part of the publisher's aggressive growth strategy for 2026.
The most talked-about title of the announcement is The Villainous Noble is Way Too Fond of MILF Heroines, which will be released under the publisher's adult-oriented Ghost Ship imprint. Written by Kota Nozomi and illustrated by Omine, this "Mature" category manga follows a protagonist who reincarnates into the world of his favorite game and deviates from the main story to focus on his unconventional romantic preferences. Seven Seas' Ghost Ship brand holds a strong place among fans for offering niche and bold productions with professional translations in the Western market.
For fans of romantic comedy and drama, I Will Fall in Love with Azami Yako (if it kills me) by Unitykong and Tunonigau stands out. The series deals with the chaotic and fun process a high school student with a very orderly life experiences with his new fiancée, Azami Yako, who is a total "social disaster." On the other hand, My Name is Mienne: Tales of a Blind Kitten, which gained great popularity on Twitter (X) and was created by Central du guma, draws attention as the softest-toned work on the list, telling the story of a blind kitten discovering the world in an extremely emotional and touching language.
Active in the industry since 2004, Seven Seas Entertainment is known for supporting not only mainstream manga but also different formats such as Boys' Love (BL) and audiobooks.
