The manga author Tatsumoto Mio is a well-known name in the BL genre. The Shimobe no Ouji-sama series tells a love story where power dynamics are reversed: a wealthy and arrogant prince becomes the slave of his former servant after a series of events. Tatsumoto, who has had other works adapted into dramas before, now brings his own drawn world to the screen.
