As one of Japan's most established and influential publishers, Shueisha has joined forces with the luxury hotel chain Hoshino Resorts to launch the "Traveling Manga" (Tabi Suru Manga) project ahead of its major anniversary in 2026. The names involved in the project are a true star-studded lineup. Led by the legendary mangaka Yoko Kamio, known for the Hana Yori Dango (Boys Over Flowers) series which has sold over 61 million copies worldwide, the project also features Satoru Makimura, Aki Mochida, Ami Uozumi, and Nana Haruta. Each artist will create original stories based on one of Hoshino Resorts' five different hotel brands (HOSHINOYA, KAI, RISONARE, OMO, and BEB), reflecting the spirit of that brand and the joy of travel.
