New Manga from Square Enix: The Story of the Girl Who Comes to Corrupt the VTuber Agency

Square Enix, one of the leading publishers in the manga world, has released the first volume of a new series that is sure to excite readers. Brought to life with Koitan狸's original story and Ura Arare's illustrations, the manga titled TS Tensei shita Watashi ga Shozoku suru VTuber Jimusho no Liver wo Zenin Otoshi ni Iku Hanashi (which can be translated into English as 'The Story of How I, a TS Reincarnator, Will Corrupt All the VTubers in My Agency') hit the shelves on May 7th. This series has already managed to attract attention with its unusual plot and dynamic characters.
At the center of the manga is Yumemi Renge, a high school student obsessed with VTubers, who reincarnates as a girl. As a devoted yuri fan, Yumemi decides to become a VTuber under the name Hanayori Kohaku with the goal of 'corrupting' all the streamers in her agency. Although she initially tries to stream with a 'bratty girl' (mesugaki) persona, this persona quickly falls apart, and viewers come to love her genuine self even more. Hanayori Kohaku successfully influences her legendary senpais and interesting colleagues in the agency one by one through collaborations and real-life interactions.
TS Tensei shita Watashi ga Shozoku suru VTuber Jimusho no Liver wo Zenin Otoshi ni Iku Hanashi offers a unique genre blend described as a 'forbidden TS teetee VTuber harem romantic comedy.' The term 'TS' refers to the theme of gender change or reincarnation with a gender change, while 'VTuber' refers to today's popular virtual streamer culture. 'Teetee' is a Japanese term used to describe cute, sweet, or innocent interactions, often seen in the context of yuri (girls' love). This manga joins the ranks of VTuber-themed works that have grown in popularity in recent years, while also incorporating gender change and harem elements.
