Stardust Telepath Manga Ends with 7th Volume

Stardust Telepath manga is officially ending. According to Anime News Network, the series written by Rasuko Ōkuma will come to a close with its 7th volume, to be released in 2026. The manga began in 2019 in Manga Time Kirara Carat magazine and had been meeting readers regularly for over four years.
The story follows the friendship between an alien girl Umika and a high school student Yû who has difficulty communicating with people. Combining science fiction and yuri elements, the series reached a wide audience, especially with its anime adaptation by Studio Gokumi in 2023. The anime aired a 12-episode season and doubled interest in the manga.
Although the release date for the 7th volume has not yet been finalized, publisher Houbunsha announced that the volume will be on shelves in fall 2026. The final volume will come with special content that ties together both the emotional and science fiction aspects of the series. It can be said that Ōkuma has carved a solid place for herself in the manga world with this series; the author was previously known for short works such as Koisuru Telepath.
While this news may be a bit sad for fans, it is gratifying that the series is ending in a planned manner with a completed story. Stardust Telepath, which gained popularity especially thanks to its anime adaptation, will complete its collection with the final volume. For now, no new anime season or spin-off project has been announced; however, Ōkuma's future works are eagerly awaited.
