Thunder 3 Manga Concludes: A Grand Farewell Before the Anime Adaptation!

The manga series, penned by Yuki Ikeda and notable for its unique visual style, is officially concluding with its chapter to be released on June 5, 2026. The work, which will bid farewell to its journey in Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Magazine, will step into the anime world just one month after its finale, in July.
Having started its publication in 2022, Thunder 3 quickly carved out a unique place for itself in the manga world. The story begins with three middle school students known as the "Small Three" – Pyontaro, Hiroshi, and Tsubame – finding a mysterious disc. The most striking feature of the series is the characters' transition from their own "manga" world to a hyper-realistic dimension resembling our own. The anime adaptation, set to premiere in July 2026 on Fuji TV's +Ultra block, is already generating significant anticipation. It has been announced that the voice cast will include names such as Sayumi Suzushiro (Pyontaro) and Natsumi Kawaida (Tsubame). The anime team is meticulously working on how to bring the manga's famous visual contrast and "multiverse" theme to the screen.
