Two New Series Begin in Harta Magazine: A Journey into Romance and the World of Animals

Harta magazine, home to some of the most unique works in the manga world, opened its doors to two new adventures with its 134th issue, which hit the shelves on May 15th. Published under KADOKAWA, the magazine added two different stories to its lineup this month that will excite both romance enthusiasts and readers looking for different perspectives. The newly launched series once again showcase the magazine's unique artistic style and storytelling.
Our first new series is Heibon de Arifureta, Shiawase na Renai (Ordinary and Common, A Happy Love) written by Hiro Inuzuka. Known for his naive works like Kimi no Yokogao wo Miteita, Inuzuka this time tells the youthful story of a couple who are complete novices when it comes to love. The story of this couple, who are chasing an "ordinary" happiness, seems perfect for those looking for a sincere romance that is free from exaggeration.
The magazine's second surprise is Amo by Rikuto Koike. This series goes beyond the ordinary, allowing us to see the world through the eyes of animals. This anthology-style production, consisting of short stories, focuses on the perception worlds of different animal species, offering readers a completely different perspective. Koike's detailed drawing style more than meets Harta's visual quality standards and impressively reflects that silent world within nature.
So, why is this news important? Harta magazine is not just a manga magazine; it is also the birthplace of worldwide phenomena such as Dungeon Meshi (Delicious in Dungeon), Otoyomegatari (A Bride's Story), and Sakamoto desu ga?. Publishing in the seinen genre, the magazine is known for the artistic freedom it grants its creators.
