Yen Press Announces 9 New Licenses: Übel Blatt II, The Gray Exorcist, and Seal My Lips With a Kiss Coming to Shelves

Yen Press, one of the leading names in manga and light novel publishing, officially announced on August 22 that it has acquired nine new licenses. In the list reported by Anime News Network, manga such as Übel Blatt II, The Gray Exorcist, and Seal My Lips With a Kiss stand out, while on the light novel side, The Witch's Conviction, The Beast's Redemption, and 'Cause I'm Freedom! draw attention.

The most talked-about title on the list is undoubtedly Übel Blatt II. Etorouji Shiono's original Übel Blatt manga began serialization in Square Enix's Young Gangan magazine in 2004 and became one of the cult works of the dark fantasy genre. The anime adaptation of the series, released under the Satelight banner in early 2025, significantly increased the story's visibility. In this context, Yen Press's decision to bring the sequel series into English is quite meaningful for both anime viewers and manga readers who have been following the series for a long time.

Yen Press's new selection is not limited to Übel Blatt II alone. The Gray Exorcist and Seal My Lips With a Kiss also demonstrate the publisher's desire to expand its manga catalog across different genres.
