You are Ms. Servant Manga Returns with New Chapter After Four-Month Hiatus

You are Ms. Servant (Kimi wa Meido-sama?) manga, after a four-month uncertain hiatus, met its readers with a brand new chapter released on June 21, 2025. The return, announced through the series' official publisher Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine, delighted fans of the series, which reached a wide audience especially with its anime adaptation released last year.
This unexpected hiatus, which began in February 2025 and was speculated to be due to health issues of author Shoichi Masuo (though no official statement was made), had raised questions about the series' future. Luckily, Masuo took up his pen again after necessary rest and continued the story from where it left off with the 70th chapter published in the magazine's July issue.
First launched in 2020 in Monthly Shonen Gangan, You are Ms. Servant tells the unusual and comedic relationship between Yuki, a mysterious maid who was a former assassin, and Keitaro, a high school student who hires her. The series quickly gained popularity with its twist on classic romantic comedy tropes and Masuo's fluid artwork. The anime adaptation released in 2024 introduced the series to a wider global audience and significantly boosted manga sales.
Such unexpected breaks are common in weekly/monthly series, often due to author health issues. However, for a manga like You are Ms. Servant, which has an active anime adaptation and an unfinished story, such uncertainty can be worrying for both the publisher and readers. Fortunately, the series seems to have returned to regular publication for now. New chapters are expected to come without interruption in the coming months. Fans can continue following Keitaro and Yuki's adventures from where they left off.
