Youkai Gakkou no Sensei Hajimemashita! Exhibition Extended in Tokyo: New Stop in Aichi!

Exciting developments are unfolding for fans of Youkai Gakkou no Sensei Hajimemashita! (A Terrified Teacher at Ghoul School!), the beloved supernatural comedy series written by Mai Tanaka. The special museum event held at Yurakucho Marui in Tokyo has been extended by one week due to high visitor interest. Originally scheduled to end on May 31, 2026, the exhibition will now be open until June 7, 2026.
Following this success in Tokyo, the organizers have expanded the exhibition's scope by adding a new stop. A "Mini Museum" version of the exhibition will be held at Nagoya Central Park in Aichi prefecture from August 22 to August 30, 2026. Although the Aichi stop will feature a smaller exhibition space compared to other cities, it will give fans in the region a chance to experience the series' atmosphere. However, it was noted that special reproduction drawings signed by Mai Tanaka will not be available for sale at the Aichi event.
The second wave of special merchandise announced as part of the exhibition is also exciting collectors. The 48-page booklet titled "Youkai Gakkou no Sensei Hajimemashita! Kaiki Kitan Kenbunroku", prepared exclusively for the event, sheds light on the history of the series and includes a special manga drawn by Mai Tanaka for this occasion. Additionally, giant acrylic stands and badges featuring popular characters such as Haruaki Abe, Mikoto Sano, and Rintarou Miki are also on the sales list.
Serialized in Monthly Shonen GFantasy magazine since 2014, the series follows the story of Haruaki Abe, a cowardly teacher who begins teaching at a school full of monsters. Adapted into an anime by Satelight studio in 2024 and reaching a wide audience, the production is celebrating its 10th anniversary with these grand museum events. This tour, which will continue with Aichi following the Tokyo, Hyogo, and Fukuoka stops, once again proves the series' lasting impact on its community.
