Yū Nomiya's New Manga Series 'Koroshiya no Eigyōjutsu' Starts on June 15

A brand new manga from Yū Nomiya: "Koroshiya no Eigyōjutsu" (The Assassin's Business Techniques) will begin publication in Japan on June 15. According to Anime News Network, the series will tell the story of a man who appears to be an ordinary businessman by day but works as a hitman by night.
This new project expands the assassin-themed universe we know from Nomiya's previous series "Koroshiya no Erabi-kata" (The Art of Choosing an Assassin). In the previous series, the mangaka humorously dealt with the hiring process of an assassin; this time, he turns his focus to the corporate world. "Koroshiya no Erabi-kata", also published in English by Tokyopop, drew attention with its dual-personality characters and black humor.
This new manga by Yū Nomiya combines action and comedy while also offering an interesting metaphor at the intersection of the ruthless competition of the business world and assassination. The protagonist is a manager who sets targets in company meetings, but at night he works with a completely different "customer portfolio". This double life promises both action scenes and a subtle satire on office politics.
For manga fans, this news is especially exciting for fans of "Koroshiya no Erabi-kata". Nomiya broke the genre's conventions in his previous series by treating assassination in a job interview format. By expanding the same universe with "Koroshiya no Eigyōjutsu" and moving it to a more corporate setting, he may add depth to the series' world. As the release date approaches, new character introductions and trailers are expected.
The publisher has not yet announced which magazine the series will be published in or how many pages the first chapter will be. However, the fast-paced storytelling and sharp dialogue we are familiar with from Nomiya's previous works are likely to appear in this series as well. Stay tuned to follow the developments.
