Yukari Sakai's "Sinful Is the Angel Who Loves" Manga to End in 3 Chapters

Yukari Sakai's latest work, the manga "Sinful Is the Angel Who Loves", is coming to an end much sooner than expected. According to Anime News Network, the series will conclude after the publication of three more chapters. The mangaka has not yet made an official statement regarding this sudden ending.
The series first began its publication in a Japanese magazine in March 2025. As the title suggests, the manga, which offers a romantic fantasy story combining themes of angels and sin, quickly gained a small but loyal readership. However, such short-lived series often serve as a testing ground, especially for new mangaka; if they do not receive enough attention or if the author's planned story is completed quickly, an early finale can be inevitable.
Looking at Yukari Sakai's previous works, we see that she has mostly been involved in one-shot side stories or anthologies. "Sinful Is the Angel Who Loves" was one of her first attempts at a longer-running series. Unfortunately, the fact that the series only lasted a few months has disappointed some readers. Nevertheless, this does not mean the mangaka's talent should be questioned; in the manga industry, many short series can later be revisited and expanded, or they can serve as a foundation for the author's next project.
What will happen in the next three chapters is a matter of curiosity. The release date for the final chapter has not yet been announced, but chapters of manga published in weekly or monthly magazines usually reach readers within a month or two. If a collected volume (tankōbon) of the series is released, the story will have a permanent place on bookshelves. For now, it is time for those who want to enjoy this short but sweet journey not to miss the final few chapters.
