WEBTOON and Warner Bros. Animation Partnership Grows: Four New Series Adapted for Animation
Digital comic giant WEBTOON and animation powerhouse Warner Bros. Animation (WBA) have taken another major step that will excite fans. According to the announcement made at the Web Summit 2026 event held in Vancouver, the two giants have expanded their partnership by adding four new popular series to their animation development slate. This move once again confirms the rise of webtoon-based content in the global entertainment industry.
The newly announced projects include four prominent titles in the fantasy, romance, and supernatural genres: The Wolf & Red Riding Hood by XUANN, Vampire Family created by unfins, Sable Curse by Little Melon, and Snow and Briar (And The Mirror of Seven Sins), the popular work of M. Nires. These series are among the platform's most-read titles with large fan bases. In particular, Vampire Family tells the high school adventures of a vampire trying to live a normal life, while The Wolf & Red Riding Hood brings a modern, werewolf-themed perspective to classic fairy tales.
This collaboration is not a new beginning, but rather the second major wave of a massive 10-series partnership agreement announced in November 2025. Previous announcements revealed that titles such as Down to Earth, The Stellar Swordmaster, Hardcore Leveling Warrior, and Elf & Warrior were in development. Warner Bros.
