Depths of Malice

Depths of Malice delivers a chilling and seductive take on the revenge genre, following a woman who trades her humanity for retribution. After the scheming Marquess Carter ruins her family and leaves her with a terminal illness, Rita is backed into a corner with no hope for survival. Salvation arrives in the form of a mysterious sorcerer and a forbidden spell: she can exchange her dying body for that of Lady Bertha Alberhart, a noblewoman desperate to end her own life. Rita accepts without hesitation, discarding her past to embrace a new identity fueled by pure malice.

Now navigating the treacherous waters of high society as Bertha, she transforms into a terrifyingly effective villainess. She weaves a web of lies and lust, using the men around her—including the enigmatic sorcerer and powerful aristocrats—as pawns in her vengeance against Carter. Unlike traditional heroines, she seeks neither forgiveness nor redemption, only the total destruction of her enemies. With its complex anti-heroine, psychological warfare, and mature themes, this series is a gripping read for fans of dark fantasy and high-stakes drama.
