Surge Towards You

Surge Towards You is a captivating Omegaverse drama that dives deep into the lives of two elite athletes struggling with their internal scars. Yeom Cheong-ho is a national swimmer whose records are sinking as fast as his reputation. As an Alpha, he requires the physical stabilization of an Omega to maintain his peak condition, but a childhood trauma has left him with a crippling aversion to pheromones. Just as his dreams of Olympic gold begin to vanish, a chance encounter leads him to save Dan Yi-rim, a talented figure skater, from a life-threatening fall into a river.

Yi-rim is an anomaly in the Omegaverse—a "defective" Omega who produces no scent. While this has left him feeling isolated and undesirable, it makes him the perfect partner for the pheromone-phobic Cheong-ho. The two enter into a "no-strings-attached" physical contract designed solely to improve Cheong-ho’s swimming performance. However, while the arrangement provides the physical relief Cheong-ho needs to excel in the pool, it also forces him to confront the emotional walls he has built around his heart.

As the series progresses, the purely transactional nature of their relationship begins to blur. Yi-rim, an orphan who has always craved a genuine connection, finds himself falling for the prickly swimmer, while Cheong-ho must decide if he is willing to risk the pain of intimacy for a chance at true love. With its stunning artwork and a unique twist on classic Alpha/Omega tropes, Surge Towards You offers a poignant exploration of vulnerability, the weight of professional expectations, and the healing power of finding someone who truly understands your scent—or lack thereof.
