Two Star Names Join The 100 Girlfriends Season 3 Cast: Returning in July!

The popular romantic comedy series The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You (Kimi no Koto ga Dai Dai Dai Dai Daisuki na 100-nin no Kanojo) continues to strengthen its cast as it prepares to return with its third season. According to the official announcement, industry-renowned names Kaori Ishihara and Ayana Taketatsu have joined the cast for the new season, which will air in July 2026. This announcement has created great excitement among the series' fans, as each new voice actor represents a new 'soulmate' who will join the massive harem of the main character, Rentarou Aijou.
Ayana Taketatsu is known for her roles in cult productions such as K-On! (Azusa Nakano) and Sword Art Online (Leafa), while Kaori Ishihara is recognized for her performances in series like Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic (Aladdin). Although it has not been officially detailed which characters they will voice, fans have already begun theorizing about which new girlfriends will be introduced to the story based on the progression of the manga. Produced by Bibury Animation Studios, the production aims to maintain the high production quality and chaotic energy of its first two seasons.
The original manga, written by Rikito Nakamura and illustrated by Yukiko Nozawa, has been published in Weekly Young Jump magazine since 2019. The series achieved great success in a short time by blending classic harem tropes with absurd humor and fourth-wall-breaking jokes. The story follows the tragicomic events that begin when Rentarou Aijou, who was rejected 100 times in middle school, is told he will meet 100 different soulmates in high school, only to learn that if he does not reciprocate the feelings of any of these girls, they will die.
With the third season starting in July, the series' total character count and narrative depth will increase even further. The anime, which aired its first season in October 2023 and its second season in January 2025, manages to keep its audience engaged by offering new seasons at short intervals. Fans are eagerly waiting to see how Rentarou's unwavering loyalty to each of his girlfriends and the series' unique brand of madness will be handled in the new episodes, especially how the new voice actors will bring their characters to life.
