Ace of Diamond Act II Season 2 Part 2 Begins in October: The Epic Rematch Between Seido and Inashiro!

One of the most beloved works in the baseball world, Ace of Diamond Act II (Daiya no Ace: Act II), is preparing to return with the second half (2nd cour) of its second season. According to the official announcement, the new episodes of the series will meet viewers in October 2026. This new part will focus on the West Tokyo Summer Tournament final between Seido High School and Inashiro Industrial, which fans have been waiting for a long time. Seeking revenge for last year, Seido will face their destiny against Inashiro, led by ace player Mei Narumiya.

A nostalgic wind will blow on the music side of the series. One of the legendary groups of the anime world, Glay, will perform the new opening theme, while the duo OxT, consisting of Masayoshi Oishi and Tom-H@ck, will sign off with the ending song. Both names have accompanied Eijun Sawamura's journey with iconic songs since the beginning of the series. On the production side, studio OLM, which took over the flag from Madhouse this season, aims to take visual quality to the next level under the leadership of director Hideaki Oba.

The Ace of Diamond saga, created by Yuji Terajima and started in 2006, concluded its 16-year journey on the manga side in 2022. The anime adaptation continues to cover the Act II period, where Sawamura chases his Koshien dreams as a second-year student. The importance of this season stems not only from it being a baseball match but also from it being the final summer tournament for the third-year students (Kazuya Miyuki, Yoichi Kuramochi, and others).
