Ahare! Meisaku-kun Returns on TV Tokyo After 5 Years!

Ahare! Meisaku-kun is returning with its unique blend of classic literature and absurd comedy. The anime will air every Sunday at 24:45 (12:45 a.m.) on TV Tokyo and affiliated stations starting July 5. The broadcaster also released a new key visual and trailer.
The series' opening song will be performed by the beloved Japanese rock band Frederic. The band has previously contributed songs to anime such as Your Lie in April and Dororo. The new song's energetic and fun tone perfectly matches the chaotic spirit of the series.
Ahare! Meisaku-kun was originally adapted from a manga series drawn by Takeshi Oga, which ran from 2016 to 2017. The story follows the comical events when famous literary characters (such as Sherlock Holmes, Don Quixote, and Heidi) gather at a school. It is a matter of curiosity which classics will be parodied in the new season.
This return after a five-year hiatus is a great source of excitement, especially for anime fans who love absurd comedy. Although the production team has not yet shared the number of seasons or total episodes, the footage in the trailer suggests previously unseen characters and scenarios. The revival of the series will bring a nostalgic yet fresh breath to TV Tokyo's late-night slot.
No announcement has been made yet regarding the broadcast schedule of new episodes and a possible international release. However, fans recall that previous seasons of the series were available on platforms like Crunchyroll, and they expect the new season to follow a similar path. It is worth keeping up with developments.
