Animelo Summer Live 2026 Lineup Grows: Daisuke Ono Returns to the Stage After 14 Years!

An exciting new wave of artists has been announced for Animelo Summer Live 2026 -Messenger- (Anisama), the world's largest anime song festival. The most notable name in the festival's third announcement group is the legendary voice actor Daisuke Ono, who will return to the stage as a solo artist after a 14-year hiatus. The massive event, taking place at Makuhari Messe from July 10-12, 2026, will celebrate the unifying power of anime music under the theme "Messenger" this year.
Daisuke Ono is known as one of the most iconic voices in the anime world. Remembered for his roles as Jotaro Kujo in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Erwin Smith in Attack on Titan, and Sebastian Michaelis in Black Butler, the artist last appeared on the Anisama stage in 2012. Ono, who will perform on Saturday, July 11, is expected to showcase both his beloved solo career hits and special performances that will surprise his fans. The news of his return after such a long wait has already created a huge buzz on social media.
Another important name in the announcement is the young talent Yuko Natsuyoshi. Natsuyoshi will take the stage as the character Kaguya from the project Chou Kaguya-hime! (Cosmic Princess Kaguya!), which was released on Netflix earlier this year and received significant attention. This will be the artist's first solo performance at Anisama. Natsuyoshi, who will perform songs from this film project directed by Shingo Yamashita and noted for its music, is preparing to deliver one of the most anticipated performances of the festival.
With the third wave announcement, i☆Ris and Aguri Onishi have also joined the lineup.
