Attack on Titan 3 Winter 2026 Release Date and New Platforms Announced

Koei Tecmo announced that Attack on Titan 3 will be released in winter 2026. The new gameplay video released by the company confirmed that the title will launch on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam). This marks the first time the series comes to Nintendo's next-generation console.
Previous games Attack on Titan (2016) and Attack on Titan 2 (2018) were developed by Omega Force studio and successfully adapted Hajime Isayama's manga/anime universe into the action-adventure genre. The third game is expected to cover events from the final seasons of the anime – particularly the Marley raid and the final battle. Fans will see that the fluid combat system featuring the 3D Maneuver Gear against Titans has been further enhanced.
Koei Tecmo hinted in the gameplay video that the original anime voice cast is returning and that the story will include scenes not seen before in games. Additionally, it was stated that the Nintendo Switch 2 version will leverage the console's enhanced hardware features to deliver 60 fps performance. The exact release date has not been announced yet, but pre-orders are expected to begin in the coming months.
This announcement is an exciting development for fans of the genre, especially with the addition of new platforms to the Attack on Titan universe. Previous games have sold over 3 million copies in total and received positive reviews from critics. The third game aims to deliver the series' finale to players in the most epic way possible.
