Ayane Sakura to Voice Pina Blanche in 'The Villainess's Inner Person' Anime: New Teaser and PV Released

An exciting voice casting news has arrived for the new representative of the beloved isekai and villainess genre, “The Villainess’s Inner Person” (Japanese: 悪役令嬢の中の人) anime. According to official sources, the one who will bring the saintly character Pina Blanche to life is Ayane Sakura. Let us remind you that Sakura is known for her performances as Ochaco Uraraka in My Hero Academia, Yotsuba Nakano in The Quintessential Quintuplets, and in Oshi no Ko.
Alongside the announcement, a second teaser visual and a “hero” themed PV featuring Pina’s voice for the first time were also released. In the visual, Pina stands out with her white dress and innocent gaze, while in the PV, Sakura’s soft and serene tones reflect the character’s purity and inner strength. Fans can catch hints of Pina’s key role in the story through this short video.
“The Villainess’s Inner Person” is an adaptation of the popular manga written by Mita Gata and illustrated by Funta. The series has been published in Kadokawa’s Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh magazine since 2020 and quickly gained a large fanbase. The story follows a thirty-year-old office worker who finds herself in the body of Remilia Lambda, the villainess of an otome game. Pina Blanche is a pure and kind princess known as a “saint” in the game world—but the true secrets revolve around her.
The studio in charge of the anime’s production and the release date have not yet been officially announced, but industry sources expect the project to air within 2025. It is also rumored that a director previously known for “The Saint’s Magic Power is Omnipotent” is at the helm. Ayane Sakura’s participation is seen as a significant indicator of the production’s quality.
This announcement once again proves the rise of the villainess genre in recent years. Popularized by works like My Next Life as a Villainess and The Villainess’s Guide to Not Dying, this subgenre attracts viewers with its character depth and twist-filled stories. “The Villainess’s Inner Person” brings a fresh breath to this formula by blending it with the concept of “an adult’s consciousness transfer.”
In the coming months, new trailers, other cast members, and streaming platform information are expected to be released. For Ayane Sakura fans and isekai lovers, it is poised to be one of the most anticipated productions of 2025.
