BanG Dream! Ave Mujica’s 7th Episode “YUME∞MITA” Broke Fans’ Hearts
BanG Dream! Ave Mujica’s 7th episode YUME∞MITA aired on February 13 and marked one of the series’ most emotional moments. Anime Corner stated that the episode was “heartbreaking” and that a major emotional turning point occurred in the story. In particular, the scenes where Sakiko Togawa confronts her past were widely discussed by fans.
“YUME∞MITA” is also the name of the song performed by MyGO!!!!! as the ending theme for Ave Mujica, connecting the stories of the two groups. In this episode, the use of music—through lost dreams and reestablished bonds—unveiled one of the most dramatic narratives in the BanG Dream! universe to date.
BanG Dream! is a media project launched by Bushiroad in 2015, encompassing anime, manga, mobile games, and live concerts. The series’ BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! game, released in 2017, brought the project to a wider audience. It’s MyGO!!!!! (2023) and Ave Mujica (2025) took the series into a more character-driven and dramatic direction. Both anime were produced by SANZIGEN studio, which specializes in 3DCG, under the direction of Kōdai Kakimoto, with series composition by Yuniko Ayana.
Ave Mujica revolves particularly around Sakiko Togawa’s departure from CRYCHIC and the masked band she subsequently formed. The 7th episode brought together both the mourning of the past and hope for the future, as Sakiko was able to once again connect with Tomori’s words. Tomori, who originates from MyGO!!!!!, played a role in this story that reminded us once again that the two groups are not continuations of each other, but two sides of the same story.
The series has been announced to run for 13 episodes; airing on Crunchyroll, it has become one of the most discussed anime series of the winter 2025 season. In the upcoming episodes, the future of Ave Mujica and Sakiko’s return to the idea of “dreaming together” will become clearer. In this sense, “YUME∞MITA” became a milestone that gave fans both a sense of farewell and rebirth.
