Berserk of Gluttony Season 2 Anime Adaptation to Air in 2027

The long-awaited sequel news for Berserk of Gluttony has arrived. It was officially announced that the second season of the series will air in 2027. In the announcement reported by Anime News Network, Ryōta Ōsaka, who voices the protagonist Fate Graphite, also addressed fans via video message.
Written by Ichika Isshiki and illustrated by fame, Berserk of Gluttony first came to life as a web novel; it was then turned into a printed series under Micro Magazine's GC Novels label. The story follows the rise of Fate Graphite, who is cursed with hunger due to his innate Gluttony skill and relegated to the lowest rank in the holy knight order, as he incorporates the soul of a thug he kills into his power. The dark fantasy series also has a manga adaptation.
The first anime adaptation aired for 12 episodes from October to December 2023, produced by MAHO FILM. The production, which drew attention with its narrative built around a constantly power-growing protagonist, attracted interest especially from viewers who like the theme of a “hero who devours demon souls.” It has not yet been announced whether the same studio and team will be involved in the second season.
Ryōta Ōsaka's presence in the announcement videos is considered a strong sign that the main cast will be retained. The 2027 target indicates that the production is still in its early stages; new visuals, a trailer, and streaming platform details are expected to be shared in the coming period. This confirmation clearly shows fans that the Berserk of Gluttony universe will continue to expand and that Fate's story is not over yet.
