Berserk of Gluttony Season 2 to Air in 2027
Berserk of Gluttony anime's second season has been targeted for 2027. According to the official announcement reported by Anime Corner, the series, whose first season aired in 2023, will return with new episodes in 2027.
Berserk of Gluttony is based on a light novel series written by Ichika Isshiki with illustrations by fame. The story first began online on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō platform in 2017; it was later published in print under Micro Magazine's GC Novels label. The manga adaptation, illustrated by Daisuke Takino, has been ongoing since 2018.
The first anime adaptation was produced by ACGT studio and aired for 12 episodes from October 1 to December 17, 2023. Crunchyroll brought the series to international audiences. The production follows Fate Graphite, who possesses the innate Gluttony ability, as he transforms into a berserker after encountering a cursed sword.
The production of the second season was first announced at the AnimeJapan 2024 event. However, the announcement of 2027 as the release date indicates that fans should prepare for a long wait.
