Berserk of Gluttony Receives Season 2 Renewal: Fate's Hunger Continues!

One of the notable productions of the dark fantasy world, Berserk of Gluttony (Boushoku no Berserk), has returned with an official announcement that has excited fans. According to the statement made on April 27, 2026, the second season for the anime adaptation of the series has been officially approved. In the special visual shared with the announcement, main characters Fate Graphite and Roxy Hart are seen making the number "2" with their hands, while the costume Roxy will wear in the new season was also showcased for the first time.
Based on the popular light novel series written by Isshiki Ichika and illustrated by fame, the production has achieved great success, reaching over 2.2 million copies sold worldwide. The story revolves around Fate, who possesses a skill called "Gluttony" that initially appears useless. When Fate discovers that he can steal the skills and statistics of the enemies he kills, he begins his journey from a despised gatekeeper to an unstoppable warrior.
The 12-episode first season of the series, which aired in the last quarter of 2023, was produced by Studio ACGT and directed by Tetsuya Yanagisawa. The first season managed to captivate viewers with Fate's struggle to control his powers and his devotion to Roxy. In particular, international broadcasts via Crunchyroll contributed significantly to the series' global recognition and the acquisition of a loyal fan base.
In the second season, it is expected that Fate will delve deeper into the mystery of his "Seven Deadly Sins" skills and that his relationship with Roxy will be tested by new challenges.
