BLEACH and Famous Illustrator LAM Join Forces: "SOUL ART SHOWCASE" Japan Tour Begins

Exciting collaboration news for BLEACH fans! The world-renowned work by legendary mangaka Tite Kubo is joining forces with illustrator LAM, known for their unique sharp and vibrant style. The special pop-up store event titled "BLEACH×LAM -SOUL ART SHOWCASE-" will open its doors on April 24, 2026, at the SHIBUYA SACS gallery in Tokyo. This event aims to present the series' iconic characters to fans by reinterpreting them with a modern and neon aesthetic.
The exhibition and store tour will not be limited to Tokyo. After the Tokyo leg takes place between April 24-26, the event will move to i GALLERY OSAKA from May 1 to May 10. The final stop of the tour will be at AMU EST in Fukuoka from May 29 to June 7. In their statement, famous illustrator LAM mentioned that the BLEACH series had a major influence on their own artistic understanding and that this project serves as a tribute. The artist has reimagined characters such as Ichigo Kurosaki, Yoruichi Shihoin, Sui-Feng, Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez, and Riruka Dokugamine with their signature bold color palette.
This collaboration is seen as part of the BLEACH universe's major comeback in recent years. The series, which began in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in 2001 and is considered one of the "Big Three," is currently in the spotlight with the anime adaptation of the Thousand-Year Blood War arc. While the third part of the animation, "The Conflict," was released last October, the fourth part, which is the final season of the series ("The Calamity"), is expected to begin in July 2026. This pop-up store event brings the fanbase together ahead of the finale, pushing excitement to its peak.
Lucky fans who visit the store will have the opportunity to purchase acrylic stands, posters, and limited-edition apparel featuring these special illustrations drawn by LAM. It is noted that an appointment system may be implemented depending on crowd levels for the event, which has free admission. If you are in Japan during these dates, we recommend you witness this unique meeting of Tite Kubo's character designs and LAM's modern art. Further announcements regarding the future of the series are expected at special cinema screenings to be held in June.
