Second Trailer for Blue Lock Live-Action Film Released, Featuring Ado's Song

The countdown has begun for the live-action film adaptation of Blue Lock. The film, set to release in Japan on August 7, has doubled the excitement with its second trailer released today. The most striking detail of the trailer is the theme song 'Monstruo' (meaning 'monster' in Spanish) performed by Ado, a rising star in the Japanese music world.
Ado is known for voicing the character 'Uta' in One Piece Film: Red and for viral songs like 'Usseewa'. Her new song 'Monstruo' stands out in the trailer as an energetic piece reflecting the tension and competition of the soccer field. The full version of the song will be released alongside the film.
Created by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yusuke Nomura, the Blue Lock series tells a unique soccer story set in a facility where 300 young forwards are confined to win the World Cup for Japan. The manga has sold over 40 million copies worldwide, and the anime adaptation released in 2022 received great acclaim. The live-action film aims to bring this popular universe to the big screen with real actors.
The film is directed by Shinsuke Sato (the Kingdom live-action series). In the lead role, Ryusei Yokohama (Tokyo Revengers) will portray Yoichi Isagi. The cast also includes young names known for their soccer skills. Most of the filming took place in real stadiums with the consultation of professional soccer players.
For Blue Lock fans, this film is not just an adaptation; it's an opportunity to experience the series' unique 'egoism' philosophy on the big screen. The trailer is filled with action scenes and emotional moments of the characters. After its Japan premiere, the film will soon announce international screening plans. Currently one of the most anticipated manga adaptations of the year, this production is ready to shake theaters in August.
