Chou Kaguya-hime! Special Collaboration Cafe Announced for the Film: What's on the Menu?

One of the most talked-about productions in the anime world recently, Chou Kaguya-hime! (Cosmic Princess Kaguya!), is back with a new event that will delight its fans. Japan's popular internet cafe and karaoke chain DiCE has announced that it will be hosting a special collaboration cafe for the film. Taking place between May 1 and June 14, 2026, this event aims to bring the film's enchanting atmosphere into the real world.
The menu prepared for the collaboration is directly inspired by iconic scenes from the movie. Fans will be able to taste dishes such as the 1,100 yen "Kaguya and Iroha's First Meal: Omurice", representing the first meal Kaguya and Iroha shared together, or the emotionally significant "Promised Pancake" (1,320 yen). Additionally, special drinks reflecting the characters' color palettes, such as Lunatic Coral, Tsukuyomi Cyan Breeze, and Moonlight Amethyst, will be on the menu for 880 yen each. With every order, one of 9 different postcards featuring exclusive illustrations from the film will be given away at random.
Not limited to just food, this event will feature special "Collaboration Rooms" set up at DiCE branches in major cities such as Sapporo, Sendai, Omiya, Ikebukuro, and Osaka Dotonbori. These rooms will be decorated with scenes from the film, offering visitors a complete visual feast. Furthermore, exclusive merchandise such as acrylic stands and badges featuring new drawings of characters like Iroha, Kaguya, and Yachiyo will be available for purchase throughout the event. The fact that some of these items will also be available online provides a great advantage for fans who cannot visit the cafe in person.
Chou Kaguya-hime! is a masterpiece directed by the renowned director Shingo Yamashita (director of the openings for Chainsaw Man and Jujutsu Kaisen) and produced in partnership between Studio Colorido and Studio Chromato. Reinterpreting the Japanese folktale "The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter" with a modern science fiction and musical theme, the film also draws attention with music from major Vocaloid producers such as ryo (supercell), HoneyWorks, and 40mP. These types of collaboration cafes are seen as one of the most important cultural events in Japan that bring the fan community together and keep the popularity of the series alive.
