Clebatess II: New Trailer Released, Release Date Set for July 8

Clebatess II: The Monster King and the False Hero Legend's release date has been confirmed. The second season of the series will air gradually on 27 television stations across Japan starting July 8. This news was announced along with the official website and a third promotional video (PV).
The new trailer features scenes and characters we haven't seen before, while two important voice actors have been added to the cast: Tomokazu Sugita (Gintama, Re:Zero) and Megumi Han (Hunter x Hunter, My Hero Academia). It has not yet been announced which roles the two will play, but fans are eagerly awaiting the performance of this powerful duo.
Clebatess is a fantasy action series written and illustrated by mangaka Yuji Iwahara. The anime, whose first season aired last year, garnered a wide audience both in Japan and on international platforms. The new season will focus on the epic struggle between the monster king and the false hero. Iwahara previously worked on productions such as Darker than Black and Dimension W.
The anime is again being produced by studio Satelight, as in the first season. Yoshinobu Tokumoto (Bodacious Space Pirates) is in the director's chair. The wide broadcast network is seen as an indicator of the series' popularity. The high-paced action scenes and dramatic orchestral music used in the trailer have excited fans.
The international broadcast rights for the new episodes have not yet been announced, but considering that the first season was available on platforms like Crunchyroll and Netflix, the second season is expected to be viewable on similar channels. The story of Clebatess II will cover the fourth and fifth volumes of the manga. For those new to the series, it is recommended to rewatch the first season.
