Voice Cast Announced for Crayon Shin-chan's New Movie "Kikikaikai! Ora no Yōkai Bakēshon": Ito Sairi and Mayurika Join the Cast!

An exciting development has occurred for fans of the beloved anime series Crayon Shin-chan! The guest voice cast for the series' 33rd film, Eiga Crayon Shin-chan: Kikikaikai! Ora no Yōkai Bakēshon (Crayon Shin-chan the Movie: Very Strange! My Yokai Vacation), scheduled to premiere in Japan on July 31, 2026, has been officially announced. In this new adventure, popular Japanese actress Ito Sairi and famous comedy duo Mayurika will lend their voices to supernatural characters accompanying Shin-chan and his family.
In the film, Ito Sairi will voice Yako, a 500-year-old nine-tailed fox (Kyubi no Kitsune) with high spiritual powers who can transform into a small child. Ito Sairi expressed great excitement, stating that upon receiving this offer, she finally achieved her dream after 23 years in the entertainment industry. As an interesting detail, Ito's older brother Shunsuke Ito (a member of the comedy group Oswald) also provided voice work in the series' previous film, Our Dinosaur Diary; this turned out to be a nice coincidence for the family.
Comedy duo Mayurika (Nakatani and Sakamoto) will voice the members of "Edomae Sushies," a baseball-loving yokai team, in the film. Nakatani will voice a flatfish yokai who is the team's captain and pitcher, while Sakamoto will bring to life a squid yokai playing first base. The film's story begins with the Nohara family traveling to Hiroshi's hometown of Akita to watch the Omagari Fireworks Festival. However, things don't go as planned, and the family finds themselves in a mysterious "Yokai Land," embroiled in a nostalgic yet chaotic adventure.
