Crunchyroll to Stream Psyren and The Eternal Fool's Words of Wisdom Anime

Crunchyroll is putting an end to one of the longest-running expectations in the anime world. The platform has officially announced that it will stream the anime adaptations of Psyren and The Eternal Fool's Words of Wisdom. Psyren is being adapted from Toshiaki Iwashiro’s manga, which was published in Weekly Shonen Jump between 2007 and 2010 and quickly reached cult status. The series will join the Crunchyroll library in October 2026.

The other exciting project is The Eternal Fool's Words of Wisdom, adapted from Kokuyo Enomoto’s light novel series. Blending comedy and fantasy elements, the production will air in January 2027. Both series have fan bases that have been waiting for an anime adaptation for years. Psyren, in particular, still maintains a strong following 16 years after its manga concluded.
