Special Exhibition for Fans Ahead of DAN DA DAN Anime Series' Third Season: Animation Wonders at Matsuya Ginza

The highly anticipated third season of the DAN DA DAN anime series will meet viewers in 2027. However, a great opportunity has arisen for those who want to alleviate this long wait and take a closer look at the magical world of the series: a special animation exhibition has opened at Matsuya Ginza in Tokyo. This exhibition, which started on April 22, 2026, and will continue until May 11, 2026, offers anime lovers a unique experience.
The "DAN DA DAN" Animation Works Exhibition takes viewers deep into Science Saru studio's process of transforming the manga into anime. The exhibition features previously unreleased materials from the first two seasons, behind-the-scenes information on the production process, and details of the creative process. Visitors can step into the DAN DA DAN universe with original drawings, prints, handwritten drafts, life-sized character figures, and approximately 200 limited edition products. Unlike the original art exhibition called Dandadan Gengaten, which was held in Ikebukuro in 2025 and later toured Hiroshima, Fukuoka, and Osaka, this exhibition specifically focuses on animation production.
The DAN DA DAN manga, written and illustrated by Yukinobu Tatsu, has been serialized on Shueisha's Shōnen Jump+ app and website since April 2021. The series, which tells the story of two young people with supernatural powers battling yōkai and aliens, blends elements of action, romantic comedy, and supernatural suspense. As of April 2026, the manga has reached 23 tankōbon volumes and achieved great success with over 12 million copies in circulation.
