Delicious in Dungeon Season 2 to Be Released on Netflix in October 2027

Delicious in Dungeon's second season will officially be released on Netflix in October 2027. According to anime news sources Anime Corner and Anime News Network, an 'ultra teaser visual' was also shared with fans to accompany the announcement. The visual includes hints that the series' main characters Laios, Marcille, and Chilchuck are embarking on a new adventure.

The first season, produced by Trigger Studio, was adapted from Ryoko Kui's popular manga of the same name. The 24-episode first season, which aired on Netflix from January to June 2024, received full marks from both critics and viewers. Original storytelling blending cooking with adventure and comedy, as well as character development, were particularly praised.

Ryoko Kui's manga series, which began in 2014, concluded in 2023 and consists of 14 volumes in total. Considering the coverage of the first season, the second season is expected to adapt the remaining part of the story. The anime follows Laios and his party as they struggle to survive by cooking monsters while trying to rescue his lost sister deep in the dungeon.

Thanks to Netflix's agreement, the series was released simultaneously worldwide. The second season is expected to follow the same model. Trigger Studio has not yet made an official announcement regarding the production process, which is expected to begin in late 2025 or early 2026. However, fans can be assured that the studio will bring back high-quality animation and musical touches.
