Although an exact date has not been announced yet, the event is expected to start in the coming months at Heart Bread ANTIQUE stores in Japan.
Created by Koyoharu Gotouge, the Demon Slayer manga was published between 2016 and 2020 and quickly became a worldwide phenomenon. Now, the series is stepping into the world of gastronomy, offering fans a different experience.
It has not yet been finalized which characters will be highlighted in the collaboration, but it is almost certain that the main cast including Tanjiro Kamado, Nezuko, Zenitsu, and Inosuke will be included. Additionally, the new illustrations prepared by ufotable for this special event are expected to reflect the original art style of the series. Heart Bread ANTIQUE has previously collaborated with popular series such as Jujutsu Kaisen and One Piece, drawing attention with character-designed breads.
Such collaborations are becoming increasingly common in the anime and manga industry. Fans want their favorite series to be part of daily life, not just on screen. This first partnership between Demon Slayer and Heart Bread ANTIQUE once again proves the series' place in popular culture, while also exciting fans with collectible items and special menus.
